Solicitation Notice
The Loyola Law Review is currently soliciting pieces for the Fall 2025 print issue.

The Loyola Law Review welcomes all submissions of Articles, Essays, and Book Reviews. We are currently considering any and all submissions, with no particular limitations on topics or themes. We request that contributors comply with the following standards.

If you are interested submitting to our online companion journal, the Loyola Law Review Forum, please email your submissions to lawreview@loyno.edu with the title headline “Forum Submission.” The Loyola Law Review Forum is currently soliciting pieces for the online issue.

Submission Method
Contributors should submit their manuscripts through Scholastica.

Length Limitations
The Loyola Law Review strongly prefers articles under 25,000 words in length – equivalent of fifty law review pages – including text and footnotes. We encourage shorter essays including commentaries on recent development or to engage in discussion or advance an idea. A piece is considered an essay if it is under 12,000 words in length – the equivalent of about twenty-five law review pages.

Citation Format
Please use footnotes rather than endnotes. Footnotes should conform to the 21st Edition of the Bluebook.

Review Process
The Loyola Law Review carefully considers all manuscripts on a rolling basis. We notify authors of our decisions by email, but as a matter of policy, we do not discuss the reasons for our publication decisions. We are committed to give every author at least seven days to decide whether to accept any offer of publication.
